01
What changes a quote
Array size, panel and inverter choice, scaffolding, roof complexity, electrical work, monitoring, battery capacity, bird protection and warranty terms can all change the scope.
02
What changes savings
Annual yield, daytime consumption, electricity prices, export rates, degradation, maintenance and equipment replacement assumptions affect the result.
- Request the generation estimate and self-consumption assumption separately.
- Compare cash flows under more than one energy-price scenario.
- Do not mix a battery-inclusive quote with a solar-only quote without separating costs.
03
A useful comparison
Compare like-for-like equipment, scope and warranties first. Then compare the forecast with your own tariffs and consumption pattern. The lowest total is not automatically the lowest-risk option.
